Now, I don’t know what you think, but to me this is a great looking car! BMW made this concept car to comemorate their long standing racing history with the Mille Miglia Auto Race. This gorgeous beauty is a modern interpretation of the 1940 BMW 328 Mille Miglia Touring Coupe which won the race that same year.
Unlike the original aluminum bodied racer, the 2006 Mille Miglia Concept is a carbon fiber bodywork with the chassis and drivetrain of the mighty Z4 M. Needless to say, this car is seriously capable of handling any racing duties with its’ 3.2 in-line Six cylinder engine.
Unfortunately for those who could afford it, BMW says this is purely an exercise in styling and has no plans what so ever to make a production model. Pity.
